Late...but only by a week

Here's the journal entry I drafted earlier this week (4/22) when I noticed I was late:

I checked my calendar today. I'm approximately 5 days overdue for my visit from Aunt Flo. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about being pregnant again. Mostly excited, but also a bit overwhelmed by all it means: to wean/not to wean Magda, must remodel the house, Christmas travel plans to alter, must control weight gain (mustn't gain the 40 pounds with this one that I did with Magda - I really don't ever want to weigh more than 200 pounds and I especially don't ever want to weigh more than Stepan). And then there is Magda - it's hard to imagine another child being as beautiful and perfect as she is...I'm looking forward to learning differently.

Also, I kinda hope it's twins :-)

Other thoughts on a possible pregnancy at this time involved the anticipated due date (12/22):

It would be cool to be a little late and have the baby on Mom's birthday.

If it were twins, it would be cool to be a little more late and have one right before midnight on Dec 31 and the other one right after midnight on Jan 1.

Just in case it isn't clear by the title, Aunt Flo did show up a day or two after drafting this entry. Stepan thought I was a nut for getting so worked up about the possibilities before even taking an Early EPT Pregnancy Test (the redundancy was deliberate and was suppose to be funny).

Probably it is good to have the false alarm to get all of your thoughts sorted out. Stepan just needs to have his Aunt Flo be late one time and then he would understand! (BTW, I've never heard "Aunt Flo" used.) Your next child and next and next and next will all be special - not like Magda but for their own uniqueness.

I too wonder if any other child could be as cute and special as Magda...even my hypothetical own.
Jenny, do you see why I'm mom's favorite?
Although Danny was an adorable baby. If his kids are as cute as he was as a baby,Magda may have a run for her money.

Who am I kidding? She calls me Tia. She's the cutest so far.
