My biggest accomplishment of the weekend (and one I've told just about everybody I know about) was cleaning the shower curtain liner in the master bathroom. It was nasty...so nasty that even Stepan noticed that it was getting really gross. A lot of my friends said that they would just by a new liner. There's just too much of my dad in me to do that...especially since I tend to buy the $20 curtain liners - not the $5 ones!
Posted by jfer at July 21, 2004 7:35 PMa $20 dollar LINER????? There's not enough of dad in you if you ask me.....
Posted by: mermu on July 22, 2004 12:45 AMYeah, just think--you could replace an icky $5 liner four times for the price of one $20 liner that has to be cleaned.
Posted by: Elizabeth on July 22, 2004 10:46 AMI know, I know. I think I also have a good bit of Aunt Leah in me. She once told me that she was too poor to buy cheap stuff.
Posted by: I on July 22, 2004 11:00 AMBuy some X-14 & once a week when you take a shower use one of those flat green scrubber and just do...takes a few minutes...
Posted by: Kathleen on July 22, 2004 5:18 PMActually, I left a note for Molly Maid to make wiping down the curtain part of her routine. She comes every 2 weeks - that should help a great deal.
Posted by: I on July 22, 2004 7:42 PMTalk about having to read between the lines!! What is the deal with Kathleen's comment??
Posted by: Theresa on July 22, 2004 8:43 PMDon't waste your money on X-14 when good ol' household bleach with accomplish the same task at a fraction of the investment. Mix a small amount with tap water.
Love the comment about Leah..too funny!
