Ugh! I'm so frustrated with Kisma Hair Salon. On principle alone, I will never get my hair done there again...Never that is unless they offer me a comp cut and style.
Over a month ago (please remember that I rarely plan ahead), I set up a hair appointment with Ruban in the early afternoon to get my hair cut and styled on Saturday in preparation for the wedding we're going to that day. I requested Nicole (she's the one who originally cut my hair), but she doesn't work on Saturday. She recommended Rueban which was fine with me (I'm usually pretty easy to please when it comes to my hair) especially since he did my hair for my wedding.
Yesterday, I got a call from Kisma. Ruban is now booked to do a wedding on Saturday afternoon and could I move my appointment to the morning? Since I have a commitment to Team Danskin, my Saturday morning is unavailable. If I can't have my hair done on Saturday, I asked if Nicole was available during the week, but she apparently books up two months out (though it should be noted that she did have opening this week when I originally called for the appointment).
Now, I'm left to scramble to find someone to cut my hair. The guy who cut my hair when it was long, Francisco, doesn't work on Saturdays and hasn't yet returned my call about an opening this week. A couple of other salons I've cold called are already booked on Saturday.
I'm so frustrated I just want to scream or cry or go for nice hard run around Town Lake. UGH!!!!!!
Posted by jfer at April 29, 2003 9:57 AMI hear ya. I experienced the same thing attempting to get manicures scheduled for the bridal party that Friday. I must have called six spas and salons about a week in advance -- no one had room for us. It was reeeeealy frustrating.
Finally, I found one poor guy at my usual salon who had the whole afternoon free and did as much as he could for us between 12 and 4 ....
