Earlier in the week, I had vague aspirations of going on the Pedal Power Wildflower Ride. However, I failed to inspect our bikes (which have been stored unused in the garage all winter) and we stayed up way too late last night (probably on purpose) to get up early enough to make the registration period.
So, knowing we weren't going biking, I got up early this morning anyway to mow the lawn, but when I let Homer out everything was wet (did it rain last night?). Strike two for my good intentions for the day...instead I've spent the entire morning reading...now I think it's time for a nap.

And Dale greatly enjoyed doing the Wildflower Ride, so perhaps you can get some vicarious pleasure through that.
