Last night, 3-year-old Jonathan spent the night at my house for the first time ever. We had a great time with him. We took Homer for a walk, played with my new toys and games, baked cookies, and read some books. Step and I are looking forward to having him over more often.
He's usually a little unsure of Homer when he comes over to visit. I think spending the night here has helped them both get over their natural hesitation with each other. When we walked this morning, Jonathan was calling to Homer and being very attentive to what Homer was doing and where he was going. The best part came when Jonathan was leaving and wanted to give Homer a cuddle :-)

Or, are you trying to get in some practice for your own little rugrat? (hint, hint)
